FOR INSTALLERS

Every time a customer walks into your shop, they put their trust in you. Their safety and the safety of their passengers depends on your ability to keep their vehicle in prime conditon.

"Have You Checked Your Shocks Lately?".

They already know the dangers of driving on bald tires or using brakes that are past their prime. But do they know the risk they are taking when they get behind the wheel of a car with worn shocks?

The answer is probably not. Unless you tell them.

Every day, thousands of drivers ride around on shocks that have too mucn wear and tear to do their job effectively. In emergency maneuvers, these worn shocks can affect braking, handling and stability, compromising the safety of the vehicle and its passengers.

This represents a huge opportunity to reinforce your customer's trust. Ask them about their ride, and about the last time - if ever - they had their shocks or struts inspected.

While you have a vehicle on your lift, perform a visual inspection and offer to perform a more thorough ride control inspection. Take your customer through the checklist, and recommend replacement if necessary.

Remember, your customers come to you for advice. Give them some they can use.
